NEW TO HYC - ADULT GYMNASTICS
Kindergym is designed for children 2-4 years of age to develop their co-ordination, confidence and self-esteem.
Guided by our wonderful Gymnastics Australia Accredited Kindergym leaders, our sessions offer:
-Learning the basics of gymnastics including balancing, hanging, swinging, crawling and jumping while keeping active and having fun.
-Use of a wide range of early childhood equipment and hand held toys such as balls, bean bags, hoops, ribbons etc.
-An enjoyable range of music, games, songs and dances suited to your child’s developmental needs.
Parents or carers are asked to participate in our classes. Our aim is to have our 4 year olds more independent so that they will be ready move into our 5-6 year old recreation classes as they reach this age.
General Gymnastics is a sport for all ages, gender or ability. Classes are available for boys and girls with the youngest being 5 years old. The classes are based on a combination of Gym Fun and Gymstar levels components. Classes also incorporate games, all of which are designed to assist in learning and developing gymnastics skills.
Classes are conducted within a safe environment which caters for personal growth and development
The classes provide a lot of variety for everyone to enjoy. But most importantly classes are lots of fun.
Enrol your child in a General Gymnastics class to help guide them towards a healthy and happy life.
Classes are based on the Gymnastics Australia and Gymstar levels system. Gymnasts may be given the opportunity to compete at local competitions. Children are assessed and placed into classes appropriate to their skill level enabling them to develop and advance according to their ability.
