Our Move For Life Program aims to improve and maintain your mobility, strength, balance, coordination and flexibility.
Classes are conducted by qualified coaches within a safe environment catering for personal growth and development suitable for older adults. The classes provide a lot of variety for everyone to enjoy and most importantly classes are lots of fun plus a wonderful opportunity for social engagement. Classes are conducted in both the gym and activity room.
We also offer Programs outside of the Club to groups and organisations. If you would like us to tailor a program to meet your needs please contact the office.
My wife and I have been stretching, squatting, bouncing and balancing (which is very important as we get older) at the excellent Highett Youth Club "Move For Life" program for over 12 months now. We have been learning about our glutes, quads and hammies etc., not to mention coming to grips with our ankles - if we can reach them!
The program is run by young, friendly and super qualified trainers in a fun 45 minute session every Friday morning.
