AdultGym at HYC is an exciting new opportunity for members of the community to build fitness, strength, flexibility and to meet new friends through the sport of Gymnastics.
Our fully structured classes also offer the experience to learn basic to advanced gymnastics skills on all the traditional Men’s and Women’s apparatus in a positive and supportive environment.
In our modern new facility, our team of specialised experienced coaches will guide you every step of the way to ensure safe and steady skill progression at all levels for ages 18+.
Move My Way
18 - 55yo
Move My Way is a social and fun way to get more active. It is a group fitness class to improve wellbeing and learn basic body movements adapted from gymnastics.
Guided by a qualified instructor, progress at your own pace to achieve your fitness goals.
Move My Way is for everyone regardless of age, ability or fitness level. Perfect for mums to get involved who
have children in our Kindergym program.
Once your fitness has increased you may wish to progress to our Adult Gymnastics program.
Move For Life
Move For Life Program aims to improve and maintain your mobility, strength, balance, coordination and flexibility.
Classes are conducted by qualified coaches within a safe environment catering for personal growth and development suitable for seniors.
The classes provide a lot of variety for everyone to enjoy and most importantly classes are lots of fun plus a wonderful opportunity for social engagement.
Classes are conducted in both the gym and activity room.
We also offer Programs outside of the Club to groups and organisations. If you would like us to tailor a program to meet your needs please contact the office.
Adult dance classes are held for an hour once a week. The classes are taught by a qualified dancer and include learning of individual dance steps. Ultimately those individual steps are choreographed into 3 or 4 full routines.
Dance participants do not compete at competitions since the aim of the class is to enable the participants to enjoy learning how to dance and to have fun.
