Enrolments & Fees
WHAT FEES ARE PAYABLE?
HYC require two annual membership fees to be paid in order to confirm enrolment for 2021, these are the Highett Youth Club Annual Membership and the Insurance Fee. The Insurance Fee will differ depending upon the sport and level which you enrol in.
Please find these annual fees below;
Highett Youth Club Annual Membership - $50 individual, $85 family
Gymnastics Victoria Competitive Insurance - $73.50 per athlete
Gymnastics Victoria Recreational Insurance - $45.16 per athlete
Gymnastics Victoria Kindergym Insurance - $34.65 per athlete
Calisthenics Victoria Competitive Insurance - $85 per athlete
AASCF Cheerleading Insurance - $15 per athlete
Tuition Fees may be billed per term or monthly dependent upon which program you enrol in, they are calculated on the duration of the class and how many weeks are in the term. These are accessible via your parent portal.
Additional Competition Entry Fees, Music Fees, Uniform Fees and Extra Training Session Fees may also be billed, depending on the Competitive program your child is involved in.

HOW DO I ENROL MY CHILD FOR 2021?
If you are a prospective parent please register your child via our ENROL NOW tab. Please note enrolments opened on Wednesday 2nd December so limited places are available, it is possible to waitlist a class if a preferred day/time is not currently available.
If you are a current member looking to re-enrol, please use your parent portal, accessible through the PORTAL LOGIN tab. If you have forgotten your password a password re-set link can be sent to you by clicking the Forgot Password link at the bottom of the PORTAL LOGIN page. Please note enrolments opened on Wednesday 2nd December so limited places are available, it is possible to waitlist a class if a preferred day/time is not currently available.
Participants are automatically re-enrolled for the following term, except from year to year.
WHAT IF I WANT TO DISCONTINUE?
If you wish to discontinue at any point during the year you will need to fill out a discontinuing form, available by clicking on the 'Links For Parents' menu.
If you wish to discontinue before the next term, discontinuing forms must be received 2 weeks prior to the commencement of the term or full fees for the following term will be payable.
IF I DISCONTINUE DO I GET A REFUND?
Tuition fees and Annual fees are non-refundable.
WHAT IF I'M HAVING TROUBLE PAYING MY FEES?
All fee related issues must be directed to the Centre Manager. If you are having trouble making payments we can arrange a payment plan, alternatively, funding may be available to assist you.
HOW CAN I PAY?
All fees are direct debited from your nominated credit card or bank account, which is accessible via your portal. We also accept Bank Transfers, please contact the office for bank details. Alternatively, you are able to pay manually at reception via card or cash. Please note we do not accept AMEX or Diner's Club cards.
DO I HAVE TO BE A CURRENT MEMBER TO ATTEND SCHOOL HOLIDAY PROGRAM OR ANY OTHER PROGRAMS YOU OFFER?
You do not have to be a current member to attend any of these programs.
HOW DO I ENROL MY CHILD IN SCHOOL HOLIDAY PROGRAM?
If you are a current member you can enrol your child via your PORTAL LOGIN in the Events Calendar.
If you are not currently a member of HYC you can register your child via our Events Calendar, available under the NEWS tab.
WHAT ARE YOUR OFFICE HOURS?
During the Term our Office will operate:
Mon-Thu: 9:00am - 6:00pm
Sat: 8:00am - 12:30pm
ARE YOU CLOSED FOR SCHOOL HOLIDAYS?
HYC Office is still open during the School Holidays however has reduced hours. We are open Monday - Friday 8.15am-5.30pm during these periods.
Classes do not run over the school holidays. (Competitive Cheerleading & Calisthenics classes may differ)
ARE YOU CLOSED ON PUBLIC HOLIDAYS?
Yes the HYC Office is closed on public holidays and classes do not run. (Competitive Cheerleading & Calisthenics classes may differ)
WHEN DO 2021 CLASSES START?
2021 classes commence Thursday 28th January (28/01/2020).
WHERE ARE CLASSES HELD?
All Gymnastics and Calisthenics classes are held at Highett Youth Club, 3 Livingston Street Highett VIC 3190. All Cheerleading classes are held at our new facility, 11 Nelson Street, Moorabbin. Calisthenics classes are held in our air-conditioned and heated activity rooms. Baby Gym, Kinder Gym, Recreational Gymnastics, Gymstar, MAG, and Adult Gym are held in our state of the art gym. Calisthenics classes will be held in our gym or activity room. All classes are run by our qualified coaches using our curriculum and skill appropriate equipment.
WHO'S MY CHILD'S COACH?
Coach assignments are arranged at the start of each term. You can see which coach(es) have been assigned to a particular class through your parent portal. However, as many of our coaches are students, these are subject to change as their availability changes. We aim to keep changes to coaching staff during the year to a minimum.
WHAT SHOULD ATHLETES WEAR TO TRAINING?
All athletes should wear appropriate active wear (no jeans, exposed buttons/zips), no jewellery and long hair must be tied back.

HYC has an official competition uniform that must be work by all our athletes at competitions.

We have the mezzanine viewing area open for all classes.
